Born and raised in Jackson County, West Virginia, Christopher stumbled upon a couple of cassette tapes at a very young age that quickly became  the seeds that grew into an enduring quest of music exploration.

While attending West Virginia University, he discovered an even deeper passion for writing and performing and has gone on to share the stage with Bluegrass great Willie Watson and Americana’s Justin James Earle- just to name a few- and play at popular forums such as World Cafe (Philadelphia) and Rockwood Music Hall (New York City)  …but it’s the random hole-in-the-wall venues he cherishes most.

Besides writing bios in the third person, Christopher loves the connection and intimacy that music creates, allowing him to better interact with and experience life and its people.
